Joe loved long, flat rides, so we're going to add to the 50-mile Ride for McBride route.

We'll have two starting points.  The first will be the East Picnic Area of Mercer County Park, on Edinburg Road in West Windsor.  It's 12.5 miles from the park to Tall Cedars Picnic Grove in Crosswicks.  A round-trip will give us 75 miles.  There will be breakfast food at the picnic grove in the morning and lunch in the afternoon.  Meet at Mercer County Park at 6:45 a.m.  This will give anyone who hasn't registered plenty of time to do so at Tall Cedars.

The second starting point is at Tall Cedars (245 Sawmill Road, Crosswicks).  We'll gather for an 8:00 a.m. departure.

Joe's favorite cycling color was red.  If you've got a red jersey, wear it.

If anyone has any questions or wants another 14 miles on top of the 75, email me at perpetualheadwinds at gmail for the starting time from my house.

See you on Saturday!

P.S.  A prize or something goes to the first person who can tell me why we chose this arrow pattern.

(from my email response):

Arrow pattern? Well, the umbrella-handle thing could be the "J" for Joe, but I also think that it has to do with the relative positions of the thumb and middle finger when making that, uh, particular hand gesture that has become associated with him. Ahem.
