Last night I spoke with John and Carolyn Powers about donations to charity
in their daughter's name. Although Shannon was not a cyclist, the idea we
came up with is something that she would have liked.
Free Wheelers who would like to help John and Carolyn honor Shannon can send
donations in her honor to Ride for McBride.
Ride for McBride, started by late Free Wheeler Joe McBride's family and
friends, is creating a scholarship at the University of Pennsylvania, where
Joe taught for many years.
Donations can be sent to Ride for McBride,2161 Pennington Rd, Ewing, NJ,
