UPDATED Hill Slugs Ad Hoc, Saturday, 4 April: The Chocolate Bunny Ride

2 April 2015 UPDATE

For those concerned about Saturday's predicted wind speeds (about which the less said, the better), I've re-routed the return trip to avoid being blown into the Atlantic Ocean.  As of this writing, the forecast has the rain clearing out hours before the ride begins, so the ride is on.

For over a decade, the Hill Slugs have followed the Chocolate Bunny route from Pennington to Hillsborough and then the D&R Canal.  This is a 50-mile ride that goes into the Sourlands on the way out and around the mountain on the way back.

People who finish the ride get chocolate bunnies, as do any who crack wise en route.

Meet at the Hopewell Administration Building on Main Street, across from Ingleside, in Pennington, for a 9:30 a.m. start.  For those who would like to turn this ride into a metric century, we'll start from my house at 9:00 a.m.

Check in on Friday evening for any weather-related updates.
