Cloudy Frenchman Bay Morning

Low Clouds Over Frenchman Bay

23 October 2021

The morning of our last day in Bar Harbor was cloudy. That meant I could sleep in past sunrise. It also meant I'd be out on the balcony taking pictures of said clouds.

The sun was trying mightily to break through, casting a silvery sheen on the bay to the south.

At low tide, the seaweed-covered rocks below the Shore Path are exposed.

The sky started to clear.

We went to breakfast, eating outside by the pool.

We decided to buy tickets for the Margaret Todd's evening sail. Pictures from that will be the final post from the Maine trip a month ago. Right now, though, I'm going to turn the computer off and read a book.
